Bridge Deck Waterproofing and Relevant Experience

By far, ABIR is the only company in Kuwait which has an experience of laying bridge deck waterproofing using BBA approved membrane system for about 800 000 sq meters ABIR has installed Pitchmastic’s PmB membrane system on RA 166, RA 167, RA 184, RA 186 and RA 240 projects in Kuwait.

Our bridge deck waterproofing system application staff has been carefully chosen and then trained on the site by Pitchmastic PmB to install their system in strict accordance with the guidelines set out by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) in their certificate

Pitchmastic PmB in order to ensure zero defects in their system’s installation, mandated ABIR that only 'trained operatives' are authorised to apply its products and systems, having undergone regular toolbox talks, practical training and on site auditing to maintain necessary skills base.

ABIR has so far neither received any kind of complain from the contractors or consultants with whom it got involved for execution of bridge deck waterproofing nor found any deviations in applications which are monitored through its internal control system.

ABIR has started Bridge deck waterproofing using (BBA) approved membrane system in Oct’15 for RA 167 Jamal Abdul Nasser Street Project. Until now we have executed 350,000 square meter out of 480,000 square meter.

ABIR has started Bridge deck waterproofing using (BBA) approved membrane system in June’16 for RA 166 Jahra Road Project. Until now we have executed 80,000 square meter.
